The 501st Legion is a volunteer organization and we do not charge for our appearances. However, we do encourage a donation be made in our name to a local charity. To find the charities we are active with please check out our charity page.
Before submitting a request, please check this map to ensure your location is served by our Garrison. Starkiller Garrison serves only the Western half of PA.
We ask that all requests be submitted at least 3 months prior to the event date. If your request is under the 3 month time period, we will still look at your event and take it under consideration. Many events have been approved under the 3 month period.
Since we obtain hundreds requests per year not all requests can be honored or approved.
Events that we accept include but are not limited to:
- Community events
- Charity events
- Walks
- Arts Festivals
- Parades
- Hospitals visits
- Libraries
- Conventions
Events that need prior approval from Lucasfilm:
- Corporate/Business
- Concerts/Orchestras
- Sports (Hockey, Baseball, etc)

Please note: We cannot attend private birthday parties.
If your event is accepted please know that accommodating an event request is solely dependent on the availability of volunteers so attendance can never be promised.
